Welcome to Wandana Waters
Wandana Waters is a small, family-owned and run farm located in the paradise that is the Atherton Tablelands. The Jenkins family relocated from the Northern Territory to explore their passion for native plants, re-vegetation and cattle breeding.
Our farm is 120 acres of rolling green hills bordered by sub-tropical rainforest along the Beatrice River. 90 acres of the property is allocated to grazing pastures for our grass-fed cattle.
We are members of TREAT, supporting the re-vegetation of the Evelyn and Atherton Tablelands region. A portion of our property is dedicated to expanding the rainforest to rehabilitate the ecosystem and support diversity of plant and wildlife.
Chianina are the largest and one of the oldest breeds of domestic cattle in the world, the ultimate for cross-breeding to create hybrid vigour, adding both size and structure to your herd. Wandana is the only Chianina Cattle Stud in Far North Queensland.
The Wandana Plant Nursery specialises in native species of the Atherton Tablelands, as well as other timber and garden species.
We sell an ever-increasing range of quality plants - from tube stock to larger sizes.
